Role: Facilities Administrator Location: Gravesend Salary: £13.00 - £13.50 per hour Start: ASAP Hours: Monday - Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm (Finish at 4.45pm on Fridays) We are seeking a cheerful and professional Facilities Administrator to join our clients dynamic team in Gravesend. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the facilities run smoothly. What You'll Be Doing: To support the Estates Manager in managing the administration for the Estates facilities To assist the team to manage contractors working on site, checking DBS compliance, arranging access, ensuring that the Code of Practice for Contractors has been completed and the required documents have been submitted To obtain quotes, for essential repairs across the sites and to place orders as required Liaising with contractors and staff to schedule in repair works To ensure goods are ordered, delivered and invoices are processed To manage and co-ordinate contracts for the Estates department To monitor the Estates and Facilities helpdesk, ensuring job requests are allocated to the relevant staff on each site and progressed through to completion. Arranging emergency 'call outs' to Contractors when required. To manage the site vehicles database, ensuring accurate records are kept. Ensure servicing, repairs and MOT tests, vehicle tax and breakdown cover are fully up to date.What We're Looking For: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. A proactive and cheerful attitude, ready to tackle challenges with a smile! Previous experience in facilities management or administrative roles is a plus.
