About the Role
We’re looking for a highly analytical and detail driven Data Analyst to take on a key regional role supporting our compliance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive (EUPTD). Acting as the Regional Pay Transparency Analytics Lead, you will oversee pay gap analytics, drive data consistency, and provide valuable insights to senior leadership across Europe.
This 18-month FTC is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in shaping DS Smith’s pay transparency strategy, strengthening our data governance practices, and supporting countries as they implement the new legislation.
You will coordinate and oversee regional pay gap analytics using a reporting tool, ensuring accuracy, comparability, and compliance across the region. As a subject matter expert in pay transparency analytics, you will guide local HR teams, uphold high analytical standards, and provide leadership with clear, data driven insights
Key Responsibilities: (included but not limited)
Analytics & Reporting
1. Lead regional pay gap analysis using a dedicated tool.
2. Consolidate and validate country data to ensure accuracy.
3. Produce regional dashboards, reports, and insights for senior leaders.
4. Present complex data in clear, actionable formats.
Data Governance & Quality
5. Maintain consistent data definitions, methodologies, and standards.
6. Develop data templates and maintain documentation.
7. Monitor data submissions for quality and completeness.
8. Serve as the regional expert for data and methodology queries.
9. Ensure use of gender neutral, objective criteria.
10. Escalate key issues to the Central EUPTD Project Team.
External Vendor Platform Management
11. Act as regional contact for the external reporting tool provider.
12. Coordinate tool testing, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
13. Manage user roles, permissions, and security access.
14. Support change management linked to analytics processes.
Regional Enablement & Stakeholder Support
15. Provide guidance to local HR teams.
16. Support countries in interpreting data and statistical outputs.
17. Serve as the regional knowledge hub for pay transparency analytics.
Documentation
18. Maintain documentation on security roles, templates, training, and system updates.
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, detail‑driven, and confident working with data to produce clear, meaningful insights. You’ll be organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while building strong relationships across the business. You’ll be comfortable influencing others, working independently, and collaborating across teams, with strong technical capability in Excel and Power BI.
