The Borgen Project is an international organization working at the political level to improve living conditions for those affected by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of advocacy experience, we have supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.
PR/Marketing Programme
This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme requiring 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can work ahead to complete the programme sooner.
The role involves:
* Creating a branding campaign
* Conducting focus groups and gathering feedback for market research
* Pitching story ideas to media outlets
* Developing and implementing fundraising strategies
* Planning, marketing, and presenting at informational meetings
* Utilizing social media and developing web messaging strategies
* Supporting The Borgen Project's advocacy efforts
Experience: No prior experience needed. We seek passionate individuals committed to fighting poverty, regardless of background or GPA.
Details: This is an unpaid opportunity; college credit may be available.
Start Date: New programmes start monthly; you can choose your start month.
