An established and highly respected global space and advanced technology organisation is expanding its UK footprint and is looking for a Buyer to join its growing procurement team. This organisation works at the forefront of space exploration, satellite systems, robotics, and geointelligence, supporting major European and international space missions. With decades of heritage and a strong pipeline of future programmes, this is a chance to play a key role in shaping next-generation space capability. As Buyer, youll be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle across multiple projects and customers, working closely with engineering, project teams, and suppliers worldwide. Youll be a key point of contact for procured items, ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets are met in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. Buyer Requirements: Previous experience in procurement/buying within space or high-reliability engineering End-to-end procurement experience (RFI/RFP, negotiation, PO placement, delivery) Experience procuring mechanical and electronic components Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills Able to manage multiple projects and suppliers in a fast-paced environment Confident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders ERP/MRP system experience Knowledge of space/defence standards, export control, and quality systems (desirable) If you have the required skills for this Buyer position, please get in touch ASAP with Beth Rowlett with an up-to-date copy of your CV.
