Starting from After Easter half term on a long-term contract
Up to £21,500 per annuum
Hours: 32.5 per week
About the school:
Supply Desk are currently recruiting for a highly inclusive, 2 form entry Primary School in the Winchester area who require an SEND specialist Teaching Assistant to support children in Key stage 2. The School is an Ofsted “Good” rated and it’s inclusive ethos and high expectations for all pupils behaviour and learning is sighted as Outstanding.
Job Description:
* Some experience with children with additional needs preferred (SEMH, ASC, ADHD etc)
* Desire to work throughout in Key stage 2 (7-11 year olds)
* Working with small groups delivering interventions such as Reading, Maths, Literacy, life skills and social skills
* Full time role with the potential for the right candidate to be considered as a permanent employee
o Location: Winchester Suburbs
o Start Date: 13th April 2026
o Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
o Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 each day
Individual Profile:
* A nurturing and caring nature
* GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
* Experience of working with children/young people
* Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
* Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
* First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
