We are looking to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis to join our team based in East Grinstead
The Role:
The Finance Manager will take ownership of day-to-day financial control, month-end close, management reporting, forecasting, and balance sheet governance. The role ensures accurate, timely and well-controlled financial information for senior management and Group.
Key Tasks:
Financial Control & Month-End Close
* Own the month-end close process
* Review and post month-end journals
* Full responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
* Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and depreciation
Management Reporting
* Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis
* Produce KPIs, stock, working capital and cash reporting
* Deliver ad-hoc commercial and operational analysis
Cashflow, Forecasting & Planning
* Own weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting
* Maintain balance sheet and cashflow forecasts
* Lead quarterly reforecasts and annual budgets
Audit, Compliance & Governance
* Lead audit fieldwork
* Support statutory accounts preparation
* Ensure strong financial controls and documented processes
The Candidate:
* 5 years experience in a similar role
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Commercially aware and able to challenge assumptions constructively
* Strong communicator with the ability to explain financial information to non‑finance stakeholders
* Proactive and solutions-focused
* Strong integrity and professional judgment
* Previous role as Finance Manager, Senior Management Accountant, or similar
* Experience within medium‑sized businesses or fast‑growing organisations
* Exposure to audit processes and working with external auditors
