The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting financial performance, working closely with the finance leadership team and a wide range of stakeholders. This is a varied position offering exposure across business partnering, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly management accounts to tight deadlines
* Produce insightful monthly management reporting packs
* Partner with internal stakeholders to provide meaningful financial guidance and support decision-making
* Oversee stock control processes and reporting
* Maintain and enhance robust internal controls
* Deliver detailed analysis on departmental performance and margin reporting
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with senior finance leadership
* Contribute to ongoing process improvements, including reporting enhancements and system upgrades
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified accountant (ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA)
* Proven track record in preparing management accounts within a commercial environment
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
* Advanced Excel skills
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
