Overview
Warwick District Council is seeking a vigilant and dedicated professional to join its CCTV Team, as a full-time CCTV Operator (Permanent). Full-Time | 24/7 Roster.
Warwick District Council monitors and responds to incidents across the district to support the safety and wellbeing of the community. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on compliance with legislation and codes of practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor, assess, and respond to incidents across the district.
* Support emergency services and council operations in real time.
* Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with legislation and CCTV codes of practice.
* Maintain detailed records and produce accurate reports.
About You – Qualifications and Skills
* Preferably holds a valid SIA Public Space CCTV licence (or equivalent experience in a similar role).
* Calm under pressure, with strong decision-making and observational skills.
* Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information with integrity.
* Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities.
* Familiar with CCTV systems and relevant legislation.
* Flexible to work a 24/7 shift pattern, including nights and weekends.
