Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Swansea
Position: Permanent, full time
Salary: Up to £35,000
Autograph Recruitment are currently working with a practice who have an exciting opportunity for a semi senior accountant to join their rapidly expanding Swansea Office.
Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of accounts and tax computations for a wide range of companies, partnerships and sole traders.
* Reporting directly to your director or client manager.
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns.
* Ad hoc book-keeping assistance using various accounting software packages, including Sage 50 and Xero.
* Attending meetings and dealing directly with clients' queries.
* Providing support to junior staff.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
* At least 2 years experience working in practice.
* Ability to work effectively in teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Experience in Sage and Xero is preferred but not essential.
* Friendly and approachable.
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
The role will offer study support towards your ACCA qualification. Salary levels will depend on experience.
