Job description
Our client, a prominent organisation in the aerospace sector, is seeking a dedicated CAMO Planning Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent position within an exciting industry that spans Aerospace MRO, Airline Operations, and Aerospace Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with all applicable Aviation Regulations at all times
2. Perform CAMO Maintenance Planning activities within the scope of the Aviation Regulatory Approvals held, as identified in the respective Regulatory Approval Certificates and Expositions
3. Manage the maintenance planning for aircraft airframes, components, role equipment, and mission equipment over short, medium, and long-term periods
4. Oversee the maintenance planning for powerplants, including engines, APU's, and propellers
5. Schedule and coordinate planning meetings (weekly, monthly, base maintenance pre-inputs, etc.)
6. Schedule all scheduled and out-phase aircraft maintenance, including AD's, SB's, modifications, and repairs
7. Collaborate with the Operational Procurement & Supply Chain Department for rotable and non-rotable component forecast management
Job Requirements:
8. Experience in commercial CAMO Maintenance Planning principles and practices
9. Understanding of AOC Operations (advantageous)
10. Knowledge of EASA, UK CAA, UK Military, and FAA Aviation Regulations (advantageous)
11. Familiarity with ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001) in the aviation environment (advantageous)
12. Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) principles and requirements (advantageous)
13. People and cultural change management experience (advantageous)
14. Relevant technical qualifications: EASA / CAA / Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer Licence, or A relevant Aerospace / Aeronautical Engineering Degree, or 5 GCSEs (O-Levels) at minimum Grade C / BTEC equivalent / Aviation Apprenticeship with proven relevant industry experience, or Proven CAMO Maintenance Planning experience
15. Relevant aircraft (airframe and engine) type training or general familiarisation training (advantageous)
16. Able to hold SC-Level security clearance
