Job Overview
We are looking for a Trumpf Punch Operator experienced in operating Trumpf punch machines to produce high-quality metal parts and components. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment and tooling.
2. Material Handling: Load and feed raw sheet metal materials correctly.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and resolve mechanical issues.
5. Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust processes to meet schedules.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
7. Documentation: Keep production logs and maintenance records.
8. Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet goals.
9. Tooling Management: Change and maintain punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC punch machines.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup.
* Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
* Proficiency with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
* Good communication skills and team orientation.
* Experience in high-volume production environments is a plus.
