Job Description
3. Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
4. Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and company policies.
5. Maintain and update employee payroll records and related documentation.
6. Handle payroll queries from employees in a professional manner.
7. Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile payroll accounts.
8. Generate and distribute payslips and other payroll-related reports.
9. Assist with year-end payroll processes, including tax submissions.
10. Identify and implement improvements to payroll procedures.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
11. Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
12. A strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations.
13. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
14. Excellent numerical and problem-solving skills.
15. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
16. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
