We currently have
an opportunity for a Finished Goods Operator at our Crisp Malt, Great Ryburgh location.
Job Purpose
The Finished Goods Operator is responsible for picking customer orders right first time (RFT) and in full. Loading lorries ready for dispatch safely and ensuring that pallets are secure on each lorry.
Key Duties and responsibilities
* Picking customer orders – Using the in-house order/stock control system, orders are to be picked RFT and in full. Pallets must be stacked neatly to ensure the sacks of malt are secure to the pallet while maintaining good manual handling practices.
* Loading lorries – Ensure that pallets are loaded to curtain side lorries safely and neatly ready for onward transit.
* Stock Transfers between warehouses – Ensure that stock is transferred between the main warehouse and the wine racks warehouse. Liaising with colleagues regarding stock requirements for the days orders.
* Weekly stock take - Ensure that a weekly stock take is carried out and raise any stock adjustments required with your supervisor or manager.
* Weekly racking inspection – Ensure that a weekly racking inspection is carried out and any red risks are off loaded and raised with your supervisor or manager.
* Health and Safety – Work with site management to ensure compliance to health and safety procedures and take an active role in improving site safety.
* Hygiene – Ensure the warehouse and lorry lading area is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Essential
