Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Building Services Engineer to deliver high:quality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across client sites. This role combines technical expertise, problem:solving, and hands:on engineering with a focus on safety, compliance, and professional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities Maintenance and Repairs
: Complete all planned and reactive maintenance tasks in line with service schedules and SLAs
: Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs across mechanical and building services systems
: Support minor installation work and assist with equipment upgrades
Reporting and Documentation
: Produce accurate and timely technical reports, timesheets, and service documentation
: Identify defects, provide parts lists, and estimate repair timescales for management review
Emergency Response
: Attend reactive maintenance tasks and emergency callouts as directed by the helpdesk team
: Participate in out:of:hours call:out rota as required
Client and Professional Standards
: Maintain a professional image and foster positive client and stakeholder relationships
: Collaborate with colleagues and subcontractors to ensure efficient and high:quality service delivery
Health, Safety and Compliance
: Adhere to all Health and Safety, Environmental, and COSHH regulations
: Comply with statutory maintenance obligations and industry best practices
: Maintain safe working practices, including lone working procedures and working at height
Skills and Requirements Technical and Professional Skills
: Proven experience in mechanical building services maintenance
: Strong capability in fault:finding and repair of control circuits
: Experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance
: Ability to work independently across multiple sites while meeting service standards
Education and Qualifications
: Recognised mechanical services qualification
: Good basic education, including strong written and spoken English, and numeracy
Health and Safety
: Sound knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and environmental impacts
: Experience in compliance:led environments with adherence to risk assessments
Communication and Teamwork
: Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels
: Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative approach to team working

Additional Requirements
: Willingness to work overtime, including a minimum of two weekends per month

: Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)

: Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
: RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement) training
: Ability to work outside core discipline when required
: IT literate, with experience using CAFM systems, Microsoft Office, and Project
: Membership of a relevant professional engineering body
