We are recruiting an HGV Motor Vehicle Technician to the Fleet Services team here at East Lindsey District Council.
The role will be based at Warwick Road Depot in Louth. The post is permanent, full-time (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) however, some flexibility of working hours will be required due to early morning starts and call-out requirements.
Responsible to the Fleet Project Manager and working under the supervision of the Workshop Supervisor; in the maintenance, service and repair of vehicle, plant equipment, agricultural or horticultural machines, all in support of the Council's Transport and Vehicle Maintenance Service.
You must have a Motor Vehicle Mechanic Qualification NVQ 3 and hold a full valid Class C driving licence.

You will be required to work in a team which provides a range of services to a range of departments across the Council. You should have a good understanding and working knowledge of the following disciplines:
Routine service maintenance
Diagnosis and repair
Hydraulic systems
Electrical circuits
Fabrication works
Welding gas / electric / mig
HGV Inspection Manual
Light vehicle (MOT) Inspection
