Role Description:
An opportunity has arisen for a Student Services Advisor to join the Student Services Advisor Team within the Student Services Admissions Department. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with some occasional evening work.
The role involves delivering high-quality customer service, providing impartial information, advice, and guidance to prospective and existing students via the visitor centre, reception, telephone, and email. The post holder will manage the College's centralised application and enquiry system, requiring a methodical approach, excellent data entry skills, attention to detail, and experience with CRM systems.
The work can be targeted, intensive, and pressurised. The successful candidate should have strong interpersonal, IT, and organisational skills, and be able to work under pressure while communicating effectively with customers. A proactive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work independently are essential, as some evening and weekend work will be required for recruitment events at the main campus and satellite centres.
