The Penycae Inn is looking for an experienced and passionate Second Chef to join our busy kitchen team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, takes pride in producing high-quality dishes, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment. What We're Looking For: Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, or Second Chef
Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation
Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards
Excellent organisational and teamwork skills as we run a very fast paced kitchen
Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures
A positive attitude and passion for great food
Responsibilities: Assisting the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
Maintaining food hygiene and safety standards
Supporting menu development and specials
Helping manage stock control and food ordering
Training and supporting junior kitchen staff
