About the Role
As Delivery Lead, you’ll be accountable for predictable, transparent delivery across 4+ stream-aligned teams spanning Capital Markets and Policy Holder domains. You’ll coordinate delivery planning, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure alignment with strategic priorities. Working within the Team Topologies framework, you’ll partner with Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and senior stakeholders to optimise delivery flow and embed agile practices at scale.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead delivery planning and tracking across multiple agile teams.
2. Provide visibility of progress, risks, and dependencies to senior stakeholders.
3. Align delivery outcomes with business objectives and support prioritisation.
4. Manage cross-team dependencies and interactions within Team Topologies.
5. Facilitate portfolio-level forums and resolve delivery challenges.
6. Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Managers to balance scope, timelines, and value.
7. Champion agile practices and continuous improvement across teams.
8. Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory standards.
9. Report delivery metrics and outcomes to business and technology leadership.
10. Build trusted relationships across business, technology, and operations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
11. Proven delivery management experience across complex technical portfolios.
12. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
13. Deep understanding of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and delivery frameworks.
14. Experience managing dependencies and risks in matrixed environments.
15. Familiarity with agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
16. Experience reporting delivery metrics and outcomes to senior stakeholders.
17. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
Desirable
18. Familiarity with Team Topologies and modern software delivery practices.
19. Demonstrable experience in asset management, wealth management or investment banking.
20. Knowledge of capital markets and policy holder domains.
21. Exposure to data engineering and cloud platforms (Python, AWS, Snowflake).
22. Agile and project/programme management certifications (Scrum Master, SAFe, Prince2, PMP).
23. Experience scaling delivery practices in growing organisations.
