Sales Specialists are tasked with growing revenue, traders and the brand presence of their assigned products against agreed targets and KPI’s as determined by Northamber and our vendor partners. They do this through personal sales to their own accounts and by identifying net new partners. This includes looking online and using other market intelligence to identify customers already active on your focus brands but not buying from Northamber as well as customers who are buying competing products who can be targeted for a switch sell campaign. You will become an expert and product champion for your product on the sales-floor, acting as a key contact to the vendor, sales floor and account team. You will proactively contact customers to build relationships with them to ensure Northamber are their 1st port of call for your product set. You will have regular contact with new and existing customers to inform them of current offers and products. You will work closely with the account team to ensure feedback is built into new offers and all opportunities are maximised. Whilst you will be focusing on selling your product set into a large breadth of customers you will still be required to play a full role on the sales floor and deliver exceptional customer service by thinking creatively, displaying enthusiasm, being positive and putting customers at the heart of everything you do to achieve the best possible results.
