Overview
Do you have a passion for supporting children with learning difficulties? Are you kind, caring and patient? A Special Needs School in Abingdon are seeking a dedicated and caring Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. You will be supporting children aged 3 to 16 with moderate learning difficulties, as well as children with autism and communication difficulties.
Responsibilities
* Support students academically and emotionally to help them achieve their full potential.
* Encourage positive social interactions and help students build affective relationships with peers.
* Enhance students’ communication skills and provide pastoral care.
* Assist the class teacher to create an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued.
Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience working with children and/or adults with additional needs would be beneficial.
* A degree in a relevant field, such as Psychology, Criminology or Health & Social Care, would be useful.

* Salary: 85 to 95 per day.
* Immediate Start (subject to safeguarding checks).
