LOCUM CONSULTANT PSYCHIATRIST IN OLD AGE PSYCHIATRY
Based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital - Kirkcaldy Hospital Community Mental Health Service (1 post). 6 months Fixed Term – Full time (10 PAs), with flexible hours negotiable for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to join NHS Fife in old age psychiatry within the community mental health service covering Central Fife, including hospital liaison. The post involves close collaboration with colleagues in Acute and Older Adult Mental Health services across NHS Fife.
You should be able to work collaboratively with other professionals and agencies. Although the post is full time, flexible working arrangements will be considered.

We aim to improve our services continually and seek a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to lead and manage change, especially in developing the non-medical workforce amidst staffing challenges across the UK. An interest in supporting multidisciplinary team development is desirable.
We welcome discussions about job descriptions to align roles with your interests, experience, and talents. Our goal is to ensure the right person is doing the right tasks at the right time to deliver high-quality care to the Older People of Fife.
Applicants must be fully registered medical practitioners with MRCPsych or equivalent, and hold an appropriate CCT or be eligible for inclusion within 6 months of the interview. Support for specialist registration via CESR is available for eligible candidates.

Applicants must have full GMC Registration, a license to practice, and be eligible for the GMC Specialist Register.
