About the Service
North Yorkshire Council’s Adoption Team works with individuals and families to assess their suitability to adopt children who need safe, loving homes. As part of our Business Support team, you will play a vital role in enabling this important work.
About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive administrator with strong communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with professionalism and discretion. In this role, you will liaise with social workers, external agencies, and a range of professionals, supporting the team in meeting strict legislative deadlines.
Key responsibilities include
Providing comprehensive administrative support to social workers, managing sensitive and confidential information in line with GDPR and working accurately within statutory timescales. Using Microsoft Office applications confidently and effectively and supporting financial processes and tasks. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong ICT skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
