We’re a proudly independent, employee-owned, family-led, multi-franchise main dealer in Exeter, and we’re looking for an Assistant Sales Manager to join our team.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll support our Head of Sales and lead from the front, remaining actively involved in selling while helping drive team performance and customer satisfaction.
THE ROLE
* Support the Head of Sales with daily leadership and operational activity
* Lead by example, remaining hands‑on with new and used vehicle sales
* Proactively generate and qualify leads across multiple channels
* Prospect for new business and identify sales opportunities
* Work closely with the sales team to maximise every opportunity
* Promote a full range of add‑on products including finance, warranties, paint protection and insurance
* Deliver consistently high levels of customer satisfactionContribute to the continued growth and success of the dealership
Qualifications and Benefits
* Have proven automotive sales experience, ideally in a senior or supervisory role
* Be confident supporting and motivating others while remaining customer‑facing
* Be commercially driven with a strong customer‑first mindset
* Enjoy leading from the front rather than managing from a desk
* Be motivated by uncapped earning potential and genuine progression
* Want to work in an independent business rather than a large corporate group
* OTE £40,000–£50,000 with uncapped earnings

* Monday–Friday: 08:00–18:00
* Saturdays: 08:00–17:00 (rota basis)
