Base pay range
Regional Manager - Care Homes. Central Region - Crewe, Leek, Stoke, Stockport Region. Circa £70k DOE plus mileage and £5k Car Allowance.

Responsibilities
* Delivery of business and quality performance targets for a portfolio of care homes.
* Provide direct line management to the Care Home managers and create a culture of customer focus, quality of service and continuous improvement.
* Establish and maintain relationship management with key external stakeholders.
* Support Company Directors in the delivery of strategic objectives.
* Conduct detailed monthly Provider/Compliance visits of each Care Home, including KPI investigations, review and monthly sign-off of Service Improvement Plans, review of Maintenance documentation and environment.
* Be present in the Care Homes; visit all Homes at regular intervals; interact with home-based staff and monitor customer experience; focus time and support toward under-performing Homes.
* Agree with Home Manager the action plans arising from audits and investigations; assist the Home Manager by completing elements of the action plan as appropriate.
* Monitor progress and report non-compliance/non-cooperation from Home staff to the Senior Regional Manager.
* Accountable for the Care Home’s quality outcomes/performance within the group.
* Take the lead in standardisation of documentation and best practice; participate in Governance Meetings; attend monthly Central Team meetings to present audit results and discuss actions.
* Take the lead in evaluating training statistics and organising/delivering training as required.
* Provide coaching, mentorship and development to Home Managers to educate, inspire and motivate.
* Manage relationships with CQC Inspectors, the Local Authority and other external professional colleagues.
* Provide Management cover as appropriate in homes during periods of Home Manager absence.
* Assist the Company with the development of care-related Policies and Procedures.
* Conduct disciplinary hearings/appeals/grievances as directed by the Senior Regional Manager.
* Support/manage Home Managers to deliver business outcomes including Sales and Marketing initiatives.
* Support/manage Home Managers to maintain homes within Harbour expectations and deliver Harbour initiatives.

Working relationships and framework
Work closely with Home Managers, Directors and professional colleagues to ensure high-quality standards and maximum efficiency within the Care Homes. Develop and maintain an external network of relevant contacts, key customers and stakeholders to promote the Care Homes and Company.
Qualifications and experience
* Qualifications: Ideally RGN/RMN/RNLD or NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
* Knowledge & Experience: Broad experience of operating at a management level, preferably multi-site
* Caring ethos: Must demonstrate a caring ethos; being concerned for both residents and staff members.
* Specialist knowledge: Knowledge of CQC and other relevant bodies (e.g., Independent Safeguarding Authority, DBS, Nursing and Midwifery Council) and related legislation and guidance
