Castlefield Recruitment is currently partnered with a public sector organisation in the Northeast to recruit a Procurement Manager.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week on-site.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end procurement, including tenders, mini competitions, and framework call-offs
2. Manage and support procurement officers
3. Represent the procurement department at meetings, providing clear, accurate updates
4. Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to improve planning and data use
5. Develop procurement strategies and oversee fair, effective evaluations
Requirements:
6. Previous experience in a similar role
7. Stakeholder management
8. Public sector experience is advantageous
9. Level 4 CIPS or equivalent experience
