We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to join our team based at the Translink Depot in Belfast. This is a great opportunity to join a world-leading facilities management company.
Working Pattern:
* 40 hours per week
* Night shift
* Five in seven nights
* 9pm to 5.00am
* Requires a full medical and personal track safety course

The Role:
* Ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
* Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to health guidelines (COSHH).
* Ensure full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials, and agents, and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager after proper training.
* Report immediately any faulty equipment, mark it as faulty, and do not use.
* Use safety signage appropriately at all times, e.g., wet floor signs and warning customers where possible.
* Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy, and store equipment correctly and safely.
* Safe disposal of sharps such as needles and blades if necessary.
* Comply with all security regulations for cleaning materials, equipment, and buildings as laid down by the client and Mount Charles.

* Basic statutory training is required, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers daily.
The successful candidate's job offer will be subject to passing a Personal Track Safety Medical Assessment, including a thorough medical and drug and alcohol test for public train safety prior to appointment.
