We are currently working in partnership with Leeds City Council to recruit dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support a number of inclusive and nurturing primary schools across Leeds.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with Special Educational Needs
* Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH
* Assist in creating a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their emotional and academic development
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to implement tailored support strategies

Person Specification
We are looking for individuals who:
* Have experience supporting children with SEND (either professionally or personally)
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and consistency in their approach
* Are confident in building positive relationships quickly
* Are committed to making a meaningful difference in children’s lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
