As a Relief Night Care Worker, you’ll provide care and support to people during the night, helping them feel safe, comfortable and respected. You’ll be part of a team that makes sure every individual receives the right level of care and attention throughout the night. Main responsibilities * Support people with their evening and night-time routines, including washing, dressing and settling in * Provide reassurance and companionship during the night if someone wakes or needs help * Carry out regular checks to ensure everyone’s safety and wellbeing * Assist with practical tasks to keep the service running smoothly * Work closely with colleagues to meet people’s physical, emotional and social needs About you You don’t need previous experience in care, as full training will be provided. If you don’t already have your SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, we’ll help you work towards it. We’re looking for people who: * Are kind, patient and reliable * Value dignity, respect and independence * Can work well with others and follow guidance * Are observant and able to respond calmly and appropriately * Are flexible and able to work nights, including Sundays and public holidays Working with us As part of our relief team, you can choose shifts that suit your lifestyle.
