We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and you will receive 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility if your available times are close to, but not exact with, the advertised times.

Colleague pay: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Hours guarantee: Our policy is to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, but opportunities for a minimum of 12 hours are also available.

Responsibilities
 * Know your customers and serve them with passion and pride; provide great natural service
 * Be knowledgeable about products and services within the store
 * Apply training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly
 * Make decisions that are right for customers and deliver store routines that meet needs
 * Participate in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
 * Understand store performance and collaborate to drive service, sales, reduce waste and protect profit
 * Handle products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition
 * Represent Tesco values and policies; be welcoming
 * Occasionally be required to accept deliveries into the store
