JOB TITLE: RELIABILITY ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide centralized direction and expertise to improve reliability across Petrofac’s portfolio of assets.
* Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency, focusing on operability, availability, and reliability of equipment in onshore and offshore operations.
* Collaborate with SMEs and Technical Authorities for a cross-disciplinary approach.
* Conduct equipment RCA’s, investigations, and manage production loss systems.
* Support fault diagnosis and remedial actions for instrumentation and control systems.
* Ensure robust plans for assigned activities.
* Contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions to support a “net zero” goal.
* Maintain documentation in accordance with procedures, safety, and legal requirements.
* Monitor asset performance and uptime, providing recommendations for reliability improvements.
* Produce performance reports regularly.
* Review and optimize maintenance programs to meet statutory and industry standards.
* Audit CMMS data for accuracy and quality.
* Manage equipment lifecycle processes.
* Support offshore operations through regular visits and investigations.
* Drive root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed.
* Maintain operational integrity and manage risks associated with equipment and activities.
* Identify opportunities for reliability improvements and reduce production losses.
* Use CMMS for downtime reviews, failure trend analysis, and recommendations.
* Participate in reliability reviews, strategy assessments, and improvement projects.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* HNC/HND or equivalent in a core discipline.
* Experience with Maintenance Management Systems.
* Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methods.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to influence at all organizational levels.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented.
* Understanding of risk and lifecycle management.
* Practical offshore operational experience.
