An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Management Accountant to join the Finance team on a 12 month secondment. The role will support designated NSFT clinical services in West Norfolk and reports directly to the Finance Business Partner. The post holder’s responsibility is to produce accurate and timely financial information and hold management accounts responsibility for specific clinical departments, meeting regularly with corresponding budget managers.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive financial business partnering service to designated clinical and corporate departments. The position is a hybrid working pattern, with duties at Trust premises and from home. Candidates may be formally based with Norfolk or Suffolk depending on circumstances.
Responsibilities
* Support the production of accurate and timely financial information for designated clinical services.
* Hold management accounts responsibility for specific clinical departments.
* Meet regularly with budget managers to discuss financial performance.
* Provide comprehensive financial business partnering to clinical and corporate departments.
* Support the Finance team in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting audits and reviews.
Qualifications
* Working towards a C.C.A.B. qualification.
* Significant financial management experience; experience in NHS or public sector is beneficial but not required.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for conveying complex financial matters to finance and non‑finance staff.
* Ability to work in a hybrid schedule and adapt to Trust premises or home-based work.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
