Position
We are currently seeking a full-time Teacher of Dance to join our Performing Arts department as soon as possible or by September 2026. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for newly qualified teachers or early career professionals who are passionate about inspiring students at the secondary school level.
Responsibilities
As a Teacher of Dance at Scarisbrick Hall School, you will be responsible for delivering high‑quality dance lessons that engage and motivate students. You will contribute to the development of our performing arts curriculum and support extracurricular activities related to dance.
Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) is essential
* No previous teaching experience required; suitable for newly qualified or early‑career teachers
* Strong knowledge of dance techniques and styles appropriate for secondary school students
* Ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum
* Good classroom management skills
* Effective communication skills with both students and colleagues
