An opportunity has arisen for a Partner to join our non-contentious Construction team. The role can be based in either the South West or London.
We are looking for someone to develop clients and work within the department with the aim to build and grow the business while maintaining a high level of client service. The successful candidate will support the Head of Construction and the wider Real Estate team in achieving the Business Plan.
Duties will include:
1. Deliver work effectively and efficiently on own files, delegate work appropriately, ensure matters are profitable, and supervise junior fee earners regarding file management and time recording.
2. Act as the senior lawyer on the most challenging matters and be recognized as an expert in your discipline/sector.
3. Build effective relationships with clients and referrers by exceeding service expectations and support partners in managing and developing key clients.
4. Manage a client review process and implement changes based on feedback.
5. Expand your area of business by broadening your expertise into new client sectors or increasing market share.
6. Lead the generation of thought leadership based on legal, market, or other relevant trends to attract new opportunities.
7. Manage and supervise team work to meet financial and non-financial KPIs, using management information to assess performance.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
* 8+ years PQE working at a leading national or regional firm.
* Experience in all aspects of non-contentious construction matters.
