Overview
What skills and experience we\'re looking for. Required from March 2026, we are looking for an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of English to provide part time 0.8 maternity leave cover (days required - Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday).
The successful candidate will be able to teach English across all key stages and an ability to teach Literature or Language and Literature in the Sixth Form is desirable.
Responsibilities
* Teach English across all key stages.
* Contribute to high quality teaching and learning as an excellent classroom practitioner.
* Actively remove barriers to learning and inspire, motivate and enthuse students in their studies of language and literature.
* Fulfil duties related to maternity cover and part-time teaching schedule.
Qualifications and qualities
* Enthusiastic and well qualified teacher of English.
* Commitment to delivering high quality teaching and learning.
* Ability to teach Literature or Language and Literature in the Sixth Form is desirable.

In 2025 students gained GCSE English Language 84% 9-4, English Literature 85% 9-4, English Language & Literature A-Level 72% A*-B, English Literature A level 87.5% A*-B, English IBH 66% 7-5, and English IBS 78% 7-5.
