We are seeking a Front Counter and Property Assistant based at Penrith
.
The role is permanent and you will provide an interface between the Police, public and other service users: answering routine enquiries; providing information and/or re-direction to appropriate service providers; recording information; checking documentation and undertaking a broad range of administrative duties associated with the efficient operation of the police station and will assist in the provision of a professional evidential property management service to all staff and officers within the force.

The post holder will be required to work within a flexible shift system, providing a tactful and professional face-to-face service with members of the public and other service users, recording data and providing and passing on information as necessary.
.
The post holder will have to quickly develop a broad knowledge of Force services and other local service providers to ensure customers are directed to the most appropriate source of information and advice.
