SoC Functional Validation Engineer Location: Bristol / 2-3 Days On Site Contract Type: Contract (12 months) Pay: 45/55(Inside IR35) DOE SoC Functional Validation Engineer– Contract Position We are seeking a highly skilled SoC Functional Validation Engineer to join our team in Bristol, UK. This role will be working on functional validation and brings-up of next-generation SoC platform featuring ARM processors with advanced interfaces. Key Responsibilities * Carry out functional validation of next-generation SoC designs based on high-performance ARM processors. * Lead functional bring-up of critical SoC interfaces, including LPDDR, Ethernet, PCIe, HBM, CPUs, low-speed peripherals (UART, I2C, I3C, SPI), and cache-coherent mesh interconnects. * Create and debug bare-metal C test software using FPGA HAPS / Zebu emulation platforms, progressing through to silicon target hardware. * Define, develop, and maintain validation test frameworks and infrastructure. * Work closely with cross-functional teams including SoC Architects, RTL Verification, Electrical Test & Characterization, and Production Firmware groups.
