What You'll Do: The Main Role of a VNA Lift Truck Operator As a VNA Lift Truck Operator, you'll play a pivotal part in our busy warehouse and logistics operation. Your primary responsibility will be safely operating Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) lift trucks to move, stack, and retrieve products efficiently. You'll keep our warehouse running like clockwork by ensuring inventory is always in the right place at the right time. Working closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors, you'll contribute to a safe, efficient, and friendly working environment. Daily Duties and Key Responsibilities Operating VNA Lift Trucks: Confidently and safely handle VNA vehicles to move stock across the warehouse. Order Picking and Put-Away: Accurately locate, pick, and store products, making sure all movements are logged in our systems. Stock Control: Participate in stock checks and cycle counts to maintain perfect inventory accuracy. Teamwork: Work closely and communicate clearly with team members and managers to meet daily targets. Health and Safety Compliance: Always follow our strict safety procedures and wear the right protective equipment. Equipment Checks: Carry out daily inspections of your VNA truck and report any defects or issues straight away. Warehouse Cleanliness: Keep work areas tidy and free from obstacles, supporting an orderly and safe workplace. Skills, Experience & Requirements for a VNA Lift Truck Operator VNA Truck Licence: You must hold a valid Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) lift truck license (in-house or external). Practical Experience: Previous experience operating VNA or similar warehouse trucks is highly desirable. Attention to Detail: You take pride in getting things right and spotting errors before they happen. Team Player: Positive attitude with an ability to work effectively with colleagues from all backgrounds. Physical Fitness: Able to perform manual tasks and remain focused during busy periods.
