This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-pace manufacturing business in Bicester. With exciting growth plans, the FD is looking to hire a progressive Financial Controller to contribute to the next phase of their journey.
About the Role
As our Financial Controller, you will lead all day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making and help shape the financial future.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee full financial operations, including month-end and year-end processes
* Produce accurate management accounts, financial reports, and forecasts
* Manage budgeting, cashflow planning, and financial modelling
* Maintain robust financial controls and ensure regulatory compliance
* Work with external auditors, tax advisers, and banking partners
* Support leadership with strategic planning and commercial analysis
* Lead and develop small finance team
* Implement process improvements and system enhancements
About You
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or QBE
* Strong technical accounting skills and commercial insight
* Excellent communication with ability to partner across the business
* Comfortable operating in a creative, fast-paced SME environment
* Proactive, detail-oriented and confident improving processes and systems
