This is a fixed-term or secondment opportunity until 31st July 2026, supporting the Local Authority Fostering South East (LAFSE) Recruitment Hub. The role is fully funded by the Department for Education with potential for extension.
Join Bracknell Forest Council as a Regional Fostering Hub Manager, overseeing the effective delivery of the hub's objectives. This hybrid position involves working from home with 5-10 days per month in our offices and travel across the South East to partner councils.
About you
You will manage the daily operations of the recruitment hub, lead workforce development initiatives, and support the Regional Strategic Lead. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and bring proven fostering management experience. As a qualified social worker, you will oversee quality assurance of initial home visit reports and ensure compliance with safeguarding standards.
