Position:Engineering Resources Manager
Location: Manchester (With Hybrid Working)
Salary Guide: £70,000 - £80,000 Plus Car/Allowance, Bonus & Package
Our client is a leading Engineering Contractor which operates throughout the UK delivering projects within the water sector. With over 1,200 staff working across eight regional centres, supporting ten long-term water sector frameworks, operating both as a sole contractor but also in joint ventures and alliances.
They have a new opportunity for an Engineering Resources Manager to ensure they have the right flow of trained engineering staff. Reporting to the UK Engineering Director you will be responsible for leading the ongoing enhancement of their engineering organisational capacity. This includes evaluating the resource capacity needs, developing a resource strategic plan, supporting recruitment, maximising internalisation, building connections, controlling and coordinating resources and performance.
Key responsibilities:
1. Lead resource demand forecasting with support from the Regional Engineering Leads for a 3 to 5 year lookahead that includes reports on workload visibility and stability.
2. Develop a strategic resourcing plan.
3. Support the launching and maintaining recruitment campaigns where required. Coordinate technical leads with authority to conduct first interviews.
