We are looking for friendly, caring, and enthusiastic volunteers to help at our lunch club for the elderly.
About the role
Our lunch club provides a warm, welcoming space where older members of the community can enjoy a nutritious meal, good company, and lively conversation. Volunteers play a vital role in creating this positive and supportive environment.
Task will include
* Helping to set up and clear away tables and chairs
* Assisting with serving meals and refreshments
* Offering a listening ear and companionship to our clients
* Supporting with light kitchen duties (no professional cooking experience needed)
* Helping with activities, games, or entertainment where possible
What we are looking for
* A friendly and approachable nature
* Reliability and willingness to work as part of a team
* Patience and respect for the elderly
* No previous experience required - just a desire to help

This will be a local to hall to Burnham area SL1
Lunch club will be running every Thursday (date to be confirmed)
