We are seeking a passionate individual to help improve our operations and deliver more for the environment. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will analyze user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with the service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the business architecture. Your role involves constructive challenge and acting as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. You will collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, leading communication and supporting the design, build, and delivery processes.
Senior BAs are expected to lead in identifying opportunities and implementing improvements in the Business Analysis Service, acting as technical leads, supporting colleagues, and shaping work scopes.

The Business Analysis Service primarily supports the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting critical change and improvement initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis to maximize opportunities and resources, enabling informed decisions that contribute to better places for people and wildlife and promote sustainable development. Experience/skills Required
* Leadership: Strong skills guiding colleagues, leading projects, and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders to ensure project alignment and buy-in.
* Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and identify opportunities for informed decisions.
* Project Delivery: Experience managing analytical support products such as requirements catalogues, impact assessments, and business process models.
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
* Extensive experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant qualifications in business analysis.
* Ability to switch between tasks/projects quickly to support business needs.
* Experience working in Agile environments or within the Government Digital Service.
* Experience leading refinement sessions.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and skill sharing.
