Assistant Merchandiser - Luxury Fashion
Up to £35,000 + Bonus
Kings Lynn, Norfolk (office based 4 x days per week)
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a rapidly growing fashion brand based in Norfolk. The company is well-established in the luxury space, with a loyal customer base and strong multichannel operation across eCommerce, retail and wholesale. As the business continues to scale, they're looking to bring in an Assistant Merchandiser to support their growing commercial team.
The role:
You’ll play an integral part in maintaining product flow across the business - monitoring demand, identifying trading patterns and working with suppliers to ensure availability remains on track. You’ll be responsible for preparing core business reports, overseeing allocations and supporting product lifecycle planning from concept to clearance.
The role requires someone comfortable with numbers, systems and deadlines. You’ll help determine how much to buy and when to buy it - with a close eye on sales trends, profitability and delivery schedules. Alongside the Merchandising Manager, you’ll support decisions that guide everything from unit buys to markdown strategies.
You'll collaborate regularly with product teams, marketing, operations and store teams to help steer trading activity. You’ll also provide structured reporting to senior leadership to support seasonal reviews and commercial planning.
What will you need to be successful?
* Previous experience in merchandising or buying, ideally 2+ years
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with stock and sales data
* A naturally organised person who can manage multiple moving parts
* Someone who’s commercially aware, process-focused and confident speaking with suppliers
* Experience using tools like BrightPearl, Demand Planner or Shopify is a bonus!
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel across Europe a few times per year (usually 3–5 trips)
What you'll get in return:
* Salary up to £35,000 (depending on experience)
* Company bonus up to 10%
* 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
* Ample progression opportunities as the team expands
This is a brilliant role for someone who enjoys the numbers and planning side of merchandising and wants to build a career in a collaborative, growing team.
