Job Description
Music to My Ears (MTME) is a creative arts project supporting young people affected by Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE). We use music, photography, filmmaking, and other creative arts to engage young people and build trusted relationships. Our outreach approach allows us to work in diverse settings comfortable for young people.
About the role
You will deliver interventions to children and young people (C&YP) to help them develop resilience, confidence, healthy relationships, and make positive decisions. Using creative arts, you will engage and initiate dialogue where traditional talking interventions may not be appropriate.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one support to vulnerable C&YP, including assessments, risk management plans, and care planning in collaboration with relevant professionals, managing up to 10 young people at a time.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with referring agencies, police, Surrey Risk Management Meetings, Surrey County Council Children’s Services, and other partners to support CCE cases according to local protocols.
* Accurately record all interventions, contacts, outcomes, and correspondence in line with service standards and management information systems.
* Complete monitoring reports and outcome tracking tools to measure progress and KPIs.
* Undertake Child Exploitation training, including Solution Focused Therapy, to ensure best practice when working with at-risk youth.

Qualifications
* Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent.
* Relevant skills, knowledge, and experience.
* Desirable: qualifications in youth/community work, social care, health, or education.
Additional Information
Salary: Up to £27,000, dependent on experience and skills.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent.
Flexibility: Opportunities for flexible homeworking; main office in Leatherhead.
Requirements: Valid driving licence, access to a vehicle, MOT, and business insurance. Out-of-hours work, including evenings and weekends, may be required, along with travel around Surrey and occasionally the UK. An enhanced DBS check is mandatory.
