About the Role:
We are currently seeking a Factory Cleaner - Nights (Industrial Cleaner) to join our team. As a Factory Cleaner, you will be responsible for deep cleaning all areas of the factory including the abattoir, ensuring a clean and safe working environment for production. This is a crucial role that plays a vital part in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the facility.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure all areas of the factory are clean and tidy, meeting health and safety standards.
* Dispose of waste appropriately.
* Sweep and wash floors.
* Adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) policies.
* Follow health and safety procedures and policies.
* Pre-wash down areas including floors, walls, belts, and machinery as required.
* Operate tray wash equipment.
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team leaders.
* Deep clean machinery including belts, framework, walls, floors, ceilings, and lights.
* Follow cleaning instruction cards according to the area.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, from 19:00 until 05:00.
Full-time contract.
Pay:
You can earn up to £33,790 per year.
Requirements:
* Full training will be provided.
* Preferred experience within hygiene.
* Preferred experience within a meat processing or factory environment.
