Senior IT Systems Specialist
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Full Time Equivalent per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: ONSIDE Head Office, Worcester

Overview

The Senior IT Systems Specialist will be accountable for delivering the operational elements of our strategic plan and ensuring the day-to-day operations of the IT function run efficiently and effectively. You will provide exceptional customer service and support to managers and their teams, ensuring they are well supported to inspire and deliver services across the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
We’re looking for someone with experience in a dynamic environment where technology works in harmony to support the services we deliver.
Responsibilities
* Deliver the operational elements of the IT strategy and ensure day-to-day IT operations run efficiently and effectively.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to managers and their teams to enable delivery of services.
* Support digital transformation and the development and growth of the organisation through innovative IT solutions and systems.
* Lead and manage information technology and systems to support organisational goals.
* Collaborate with managers to enable effective use of technology and information for decision making.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience in a dynamic environment where technology supports service delivery.
* Up-to-date knowledge of technical architecture, business applications and systems integration.
* Demonstrable experience with databases to drive operational performance and provide high-quality management information.
* Ability to plan, prioritise workload, and adapt to changing priorities with a flexible and creative approach.
* Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills to influence across the organisation.

We are looking for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with up-to-date knowledge of technical architecture, business applications and systems integration. You will have demonstrable experience with databases to drive operational performance and provide high-quality management information. You will support managers to make effective use of technological solutions and systems to enhance the work we do.
You will be resourceful, patient and proactive in providing support to colleagues, with excellent organisational skills to plan and prioritise workload in a flexible and creative way.
You will be a strong, energetic and engaging leader who can guide digital transformation of ONSIDE’s systems, contributing to the organisation’s success, growth and diversity. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across the ONSIDE community.
