Fortus Recruitment are currently working with a leading Social Housing Contractor to recruit an experienced Plumber to join their repairs and maintenance team. We are currently looking for an experienced Unvented Plumber to join a growing maintenance team working within the social housing sector.
This is a permanent position carrying out reactive maintenance and repair work within occupied and void residential properties. The successful candidate will be provided with a company van and fuel card and will be expected to deliver high-quality plumbing repairs and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out plumbing repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
* Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently
* Working on unvented hot water systems
* Replacing and repairing cylinders, pipework, taps, valves and sanitary ware
* Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
* Providing a professional service to tenants and clients
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Plumber within domestic or social housing environments
* Unvented Hot Water Qualification Essential
* Full UK Driving Licence
* Strong fault-finding and maintenance xsngvjr experience
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
