Key Responsibilities:
Conducting thorough inspections of bridges to identify any structural issues or potential risks
Documenting findings and preparing detailed reports on the condition of bridges.
Recommending necessary repairs and maintenance activities
Collaborating with relevant teams and stakeholders to ensure that all inspections are robust and thorough
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
Assisting in the planning and prioritisation of bridge maintenance and refurbishment projects
Providing expertise on general inspection procedures and practices
Supporting principal inspections, if applicable
Job Requirements:
Experience in bridge inspection or a related field
Strong understanding of structural engineering principles
Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards concerning bridge inspections
Excellent report writing and documentation skills
Attention to detail and aptitude for identifying structural issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant qualifications or certifications in engineering or a related discipline are desirable
