As a Senior Substance Misuse Nurse, You Will
* Ensure integrated pathways for service users needing treatment for addiction-related health needs.
* Implement and maintain immunisation and vaccination schemes for blood borne viruses.
* Encourage continuous professional development within your team.
* Deliver clinical services to high standards in line with national guidance.
* Manage and develop nursing staff, participating in core training programmes.
* Attend and organise relevant clinical advisory groups and meetings.
* Collaborate with the Lead Doctor to plan and implement individual treatment programmes.

The Senior Substance Misuse Nurse Candidate Will Have
* Valid NMC registration and current pin.

* Knowledge of clinical interventions and UK Drug Strategy.
* Strong communication, IT skills, and a facilitative management style.
* Ability to manage change and work in partnership with various stakeholders.
