Overview
The youth consultant roles will work with organisations to ensure their ways of working align with the expectations and needs of young people.
The youth consultants will be involved in running workshops to understand what the workplace looks like for young people by exploring challenges and barriers. The role holder will also be involved in gathering youth voice in open consultation events, which will connect young people and employers.
The youth consultants will then use the information gathered from the workshops to explore the recruitment, onboarding, induction and support policy and practices of selected organisations.
The youth consultants will use the information gathered from young people and employers to help develop and inform resources for employers to access.

Responsibilities
* Work with organisations to ensure their ways of working align with the expectations and needs of young people.
* Run workshops to understand challenges and barriers faced by young people in the workplace.
* Gather youth voice in open consultation events, connecting young people and employers.
* Explore recruitment, onboarding, induction and support policies and practices of selected organisations using information gathered.
* Help develop and inform resources for employers based on information from young people and employers.
Location and Compensation
* Location: Sheffield
* Pay: £12.60 per hour (increasing to £13.45 per hour from 1 April 2026)
